Although it is simple and at times overdone (to the point of exploitation) if done thoughtfully and simply, it can be a quick, thoughtful win.

VINE x SOL REPUBLIC

VINE is all the rage…the newest social platform to begin to gain some mega-traction with the early adopter tech crowd and the blogosphere. It is all over NYFW.  And there is actually some pretty fun content coming out of it.

While it is unclear how well VINE will ultimately integrate into more strategic social deployment, at the very least right now it is really fun.

We are having just that with a new promotion with SOL REPUBLIC (client) where we are asking fans to submit a quick video that showcases a moment of the soundtrack of their lives. Quick, fun, simple.
And also rewarding…as several video submitters will score brand new SOL REPUBLIC Master Tracks headphones, a solid payoff for 6 seconds of work.

 

Warming Up w/ Social Cocktails

A blizzard is quickly forming outside of our office windows, which is providing a perfect opportunity for us to dive into the Pinterest boards of client BULLDOG Gin and dig out some delicious cocktail faves.

When cabin fever sets in over the weekend, one of these is going to make a fabulous accompaniment to DVR marathons. We highly recommend it.

White Chocolate Martini
1oz (30ml) BULLDOG Gin
1oz (30ml) White Chocolate Liqueur
Finely Shaved Dark Chocolate
Pour BULLDOG Gin and White Chocolate Liqueur into a shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously. Pour into a martini glass and sprinkle dark chocolate shavings on top.

Client Love: Healthy Cocktails

Sounds like an oxymoron right? But seriously…while you’re springing into the New Year with tons of resolutions, a recommitment to the gym and all of those other hopeful resolutions, we recommend diving into some defiantly and definitely delicious cocktails from our clients (and friends) at BULLDOG Gin. They are seriously amazing. You can find them weekly on BULLDOG’s Facebook or over on their Pinterest (so many amazing cocktail recipes here!) Yum!

BULLDOG GIN’s DOUBLE MINT

  • 2 oz. BULLDOG Gin
  • 1/2 oz. Splenda Simple Syrup
  • 2 Sprigs of Mint
  • Splash Dry Vermouth
  • Prosecco or Dry Champagne

CALORIES: 153

In a mixing glass, combine all ingredients. Shake and strain into a martini glass. Top with Prosecco or dry champagne and garnish with a mint leaf.

Long December….

December is always the month where things just happen. New clients formalize their strategy. Old clients finalize their planning process. There is always a buzz of this is all happening right now in the air. It is an exciting and tiring time, but the ride is more than worth the late nights and Starbucks runs.

Below are a few images from our strategic content creation, ideation and deployment from the month of December. The campaigns and programs to come in 2013 aren’t able to be shared yet, but we can tell you that we’re mighty proud (and excited) about them.
